Mbaise: This dialect is spoken in the Imo state, by the Mbaise people.
Ezaa: Spoken mainly in Nigeria's state of Ebonyi. It is very similar to the dialects Izii, Ikwo , and Mgbo, and forms a dialect cluster with them.
Hausa Dialects:
Sakkwatanci: The people of Sokoto town speak this dialect, as well as much of the people in western Zamfara state. It is the dialect of Hausa with the largest amount of native speakers.
Dauranci: This dialect is spoken in Daura Town, and Northeastern/Eastern parts of Katsina state.
Kananci: Native to south/western parts of Jigwa state, and Kano state.
Yoruba Dialects:
Igbomina: Located in Benin Republic, Kwara, Ondo, Kogi States, and Benin Republic, and Osun.
Oyo: Located in Benin Republic and Oyo state.
English Dialects:
Nigerian Standard English: This dialect is based on British English due to the colinization of Nigeria by Enlgand in the late 1800s and early 1900s. However, Nigerian Standard English has recently been adopting American pronunciations of words due to the United State's prevalence Kanuri Dialects:
Yerwa: This dialects is spoken in northeastern Nigeria, in Borno state, and is used as a lingua franca in Chad, Niger, Cameroon, and Sudan.
Mobar: Spoken not only in Nigeria, but Niger as well. This dialect is closely related to the Yerwa dialect of Kanuri.
Manga: This dialect is spoken in northeastern Nigeria as well as Niger.
Kanembu: This dialect is sometimes considered to be a seperate language than Kanuri, but by most is considered to be merely a dialect of the language. This dialect is often heard in Chad.
