Nigeria's Population
Nigeria has a very large population, as it is the most populous country in Africa. Locates in Sub-Saharan Africa, Nigeria has a population of 186,053,386. Nigeria has a rapidly growing population, with a very high DBR, NIR, and Dependency Ratio. Although it's economy is very prosperous, still many people are uneducated and unemployed, causing most of the population to be below the poverty line. High populations have lead to gross overcrowding in many of Nigeria's cities, specifically Lagos, which has lead to many disasters, as well as a more rapid spread of disease.
